Meet Emma!

Hey nice to meet you! My name is Emma Rose and I'm a South Carolina based photographer. I graduated in the spring of 2022 from Coastal Carolina University with a bachelor’s degree in Communication and a minor in photography. I'm all about capturing authentic moments with people! I love portrait photography, creative photography, and landscape photography. 

I first picked up a camera at the young age of 11, and I haven't put one down since! I also enjoy making videos and being digitally creative! I hope to one day have my own photography business! 

My passion for photography really began to grow in early 2018 when I started an internship as a pet photographer at my local humane society.  I also worked at JCPenney Portrait Studio for a year and gained so much experience in photography. I worked with babies, families, graduating seniors, pets, and lots of kids! With a year of experience in a studio setting under my belt I feel even more confident in my photography abilities.

I hope to continue growing my passion for photography!

My Photography Style

I love colorful pictures! I love making colors in photos stand out. I think there’s something magical about editing a photo and being able to really bring out the colors in it. I’m also a sucker for vintage looking photos as well. I also love b&w photos. I think adding a b&w filter to some photos adds mystery to certain photographs which makes them so interesting. I’ve shot on b&w film before and it definitely made me appreciate a b&w photograph. I love capturing authentic moments, and being able to capture and cherish a moment forever.

  • Well, thank you for choosing my services! Head over to my contact page, and kindly fill out the form and I'll be in touch!

  • I currently only accept cash and Venmo! I request that you pay in full at the end of our session.

  • No, I do not release any RAW or unedited photos from any session to a client. I only send my finished work, which are high quality, high resolution digital photos.

  • Depending on how long the session is, I will send around 20-60 fully edited photos, (sometimes more depending on the session). The photos that I don't send are (but not limited to), duplicates, blurry shots, or if someone blinks. But don't worry you'll get all the good ones!

  • You will receive your photos via an online gallery! On there you can download all of the photos!

  • That is totally fine! I can make your gallery password protected so that only you and I have access to it!

  • I'm a very relaxed, easy going person and I want you to feel your best during our shoots. If you start to feel nervous we can totally play some music during your session. If you have a favorite artist or Spotify/Apple Music Playlist we can totally play that! I also suggest bringing someone with you, whether it's a friend, significant other, or family member to help ease your nerves. They can also help as an assistant to hold any belongings for you! I'll also help you with poses and give you different prompts to avoid you feeling awkward or stiff. I want our shoots to be fun and memorable. I'm all about capturing authentic, genuine natural moments!

  • I save all of your beautiful photos onto my computer, as well as, an external hard drive, plus a cloud based service!

  • For most sessions my turn around is 1-2 weeks after the photoshoot (or sometimes sooner). But I'll send you a few sneak peeks a few days after your session!

  • Yes and no. My turn around time for most sessions is 1-2 weeks after our session. Depending on when your graduation is, if you book with me well in advance, I will have the photos to you within 1-2 weeks after our session. However, if you wait until the last minute, I cannot guarantee they will be sent before the specific date.
